LOBIONDO ENDORSES
COUNTY GOP TICKET
The
Republican ticket for three seats on the Atlantic County
Board of Freeholders and Sheriff today received the
endorsement of United States Congressman Frank LoBiondo.
The
Congressman endorsed the re-election of District 3
Freeholder Frank Sutton and the election of Tom
Ballistreri and Manny Aponte, candidates for two
at-large seats on the board, and of Pleasantville Police
Capt. Frank Balles, running for Sheriff.
“The
election of the Republican team to the Board of
Freeholders will assure the citizens and taxpayers of
Atlantic County they will continue to receive honest,
responsive and economical government and the continued
delivery of quality services,” LoBiondo said.
“Balles is
the consummate law enforcement professional,” LoBiondo
said, “and, by virtue of experience, ability and
performance, is clearly superior to the incumbent.”
Balles, a
23-year-veteran of the Pleasantville Department began
his career as a street patrolman and rose through the
ranks to hold management, administrative and command
positions, including serving as Acting Chief.
