NEW
JERSEY GRAND JURY
EMPANELLED TO REVIEW
VENTNOR
CITY FISHING PIER ...
In
fairness ... if anything comes of all of this ... all
issues involve the past administration and not the
present, new City Commission.
HarryHurley.com has learned and confirmed
that a New Jersey Superior Court Grand Jury in Trenton
has been convened to review the entire Ventnor City
Fishing Pier renovation project.
Well placed
sources have confirmed that Ventnor City's Custodian of
Records has been subpoenaed to provide a
voluminous amount of official city records pertaining to
all phases of the project, including, but not limited
to:
All City
Commission Meeting minutes
All bid
specifications
All requests
for proposals
Proof of
advertisement
copies of all
bid proposals received
All city notes
of any kind on the subject
All Committee
Meeting notes
All payments
All Change
Orders
All
professional services involved
Ventnor City
Commissioner John Piatt has long been calling for a
state of New Jersey full, free and fair forensic audit
of this project and other Ventnor City projects and
issues.
I have not had
the opportunity as yet to speak to any members of the
Ventnor City Commission regarding this dramatic
development.
The Custodian
of Records for the City of Ventnor is long-time City
Clerk, Mrs. Sandra Biagi. Our well placed sources have
confirmed that Mrs. Biagi is NOT
a person of interest or subject of this investigation.
She is merely, the chief record keeper for the City of
Ventnor.
Mrs. Biagi has
until October 23, 2008 to provide all the requested
information, or, her direct appearance will be required
in Trenton on this date.
