Harry
Hurley on Jim McGettigan's
latest
circus stunt ...
This
time against Frank Balles
A more
desperate than usual Jim McGettigan is at his old
tricks again.
Seeing that
he is losing this election to Frank Balles ...
McGettigan has now done what he always does. From
his first campaign and the dirty lies against
Sheriff Carmen DiBenedetto ... to, the dirty tricks
against Bobby Flipping, Steve Caldwell and others.
It's vintage Jim McGettigan. Unable to demonstrate
his qualifications for his position ... He
manufactures lies and files charges.
You can
count on it every three year's like clock work.
Jim
McGettigan has filed completely bogus charges
against Balles ... and, as usual, The Atlantic City
Press grants Mcgettigan headline news coverage on
his latest circus stunt.
McGettigan
is very vicious in the charges he files. His style
is to go directly to your Boss and try to ruin you,
with innuendo and lies. Fortunately, Pleasantville
Mayor Ralph Peterson is as fine and decent a man as
you'll ever find in electoral politics. Mcgettigan's
ploy will go no where and simply serves as a
reminder to all of us ... as to what a colossal
jackass he really is.
This is
McGettigan's first Press coverage since the Atlantic
City Press gave McGettigan "serious" headline news
coverage that McGettigan had discovered the police
car theft technology Lo-Jack.
They
actually reported on Mcgettigan's discovery of
Lo-Jack like it was ground breaking news. However,
what it is really like is the Geiko television
commercials. You know the ones I mean ... when Bill
Curtis arrives at the finding of Amelia Erharts
long-lost plane ... or, the Yetti ... or, the
Fountain of Youth ... and, yet, a dead-panned,
serious Bill Curtis triumphs ... "I'm Bill Curtis
... and, I've found THE INTERNET." !!!!!!
It is such
a shame that this is a Presidential election year.
This, coupled with the historic Atlantic City,
Pleasantville - Barack Obama certainties of a very
strong general election vote ... or, else McGettigan
would finally be finished.
It's his
only chance to win. he will not win on the basis of
his unaccomplished record. Perhaps no one in our
lifetime has served longer and accomplished so
little.
Balles has
served more coffee to Atlantic County residents than
Dunkin Donuts, Star bucks and WaWa put together.
Balles
is everywhere and McGettigan is scared.
The unknown
is how much of lead can Obama, Lorenzo Langford and
Jessie Tweedle give to McGettigan and can Balles
make it up in the remaining 21 towns.
Any other
year and Balles would be on his way to a certain,
massive double-digit mandate.
However,
despite how well Obama, Langford and Tweedle will do
... don't forget, He's still Jim McGettigan and
there are many voters who remember County Executive
candidate Jim Mcgettigan. They voted against him in
record numbers one year ago ... and, many are
preparing to do the same thing again this year.
