Millville, NJ-
The Humane Society
Legislative Fund, the political arm of the Humane
Society of the United States, has endorsed Frank
LoBiondo for another term in office.
“It is an honor to be endorsed by the Humane Society,
whose vocal support on animal protection issues has led
to several recent successes in Congress,” said Frank
LoBiondo. “I appreciate the continued friendship of the
Humane Society, local chapters and animal lovers across
South Jersey and remain committed to promoting policies
that protect those members of our families and our
communities that cannot protect themselves.”
“In order to have humane
laws, we need to elect humane lawmakers,” said Michael
Markarian, president of the Humane Society Legislative
Fund. “We urge voters to elect Frank LoBiondo, who
supports the humane treatment of animals.” Earlier this
year, the Humane Society of the United States released
its annual Humane Scorecard in which Congressman
LoBiondo earned a perfect 100 percent. The Humane
Society Legislative Fund is a non-partisan organization
that evaluates candidates based only on a single
criterion: where they stand on animal welfare.
LoBiondo has long been
involved in animal welfare issues, volunteering his time
at the Cumberland County SPCA prior to his election to
Congress. He and his wife Tina are the proud owners of
two rescued Weimaraners, Lola and Luca.
“We enthusiastically
support Frank for Congress and know he’ll continue to
protect our interests in Washington…right after he takes
us to Parvin State Park or for a walk on the beach,”
barked Lola and Luca.
