VFW ENDORSES
LoBIONDO FOR RE-ELECTION TO CONGRESS
Cites Support for Increased Veterans Funding, Working
across the Aisle
Millville, NJ –
Frank
LoBiondo has been endorsed by the Veterans of Foreign
Wars (VFW) for another term in office.
“Veterans across the country and here in South Jersey
have dedicated their lives to protecting our nation and
our way of life. It has been a privilege to work closely
with the VFW and other organizations on behalf of South
Jersey veterans and I am honored to have the VFW’s
endorsement and support,” said LoBiondo. “I will
continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the
aisle to ensure our veterans have the health care,
education and other services they have rightly
earned.”
“Frank LoBiondo was one of the first
Republicans to sign onto legislation expanding G.I.
benefits this Congress. He is always the first to reach
out across the aisle in support of increased funding for
the VA or other key issues important to veterans,” said
Al Bucchi, State Legislative Director of the New Jersey
VFW and member of the VFW National Legislative
Committee. “Part of our endorsement process is looking
at key committees positions; LoBiondo continues to be a
major factor for our military because of his seat on the
House Armed Services Committee.”
"The
endorsement of Congressman LoBiondo by the VFW PAC is
most welcome news to the VFW Members here in Mays
Landing as he has been outstanding in representing
veterans needs on the National level in Congress as well
as helping individual veterans in need of assistance on
the local level," said Allen "Red" Rhodes, Past
Commander, VFW Post 220 in Mays Landing.
