"Hurley in the Morning"   EXCLUSIVE   FIRST REPORTED HERE   Wednesday, June 1, 2011   By HARRY HURLEY   MAJOR NEWS IN DISTRICT 2 NEW JERSEY SENATE RACE   BLOCKBUSTER DEVELOPMENT   ATLANTIC CITY MAYOR LORENZO LANGFORD WILL RUN AS AN INDEPENDENT AGAINST SENATOR JIM WHELAN AND ASSEMBLYMAN VINCE POLISTINA   Harry Hurley is reporting that Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford will enter the General Primary Election as an Independent candidate for the New Jersey Senate in District 2.   Whelan ran as an Independent candidate against Langford for Mayor of Atlantic City back in 2001. Langford won that election by a wide margin against then incumbent Mayor Whelan.   Langford appears poised to return the favor and will run as an Independent candidate in the fall campaign.   Langford will be providing "Hurley in the Morning" with an exclusive when he makes his decision official - one way or the other.   "Hurley in the Morning" is confidently projecting that Langford will be a candidate for the New Jersey Senate.   This will tremendously benefit Polistina, who stands to gain the most by a Langford independent candidacy.

The total bill is $1.7 billion. The Appropriations Clause creates no bar to judicial enforcement under the circumstances presented here, the court ruled for the Education Law Center. "The funding to the Abbott districts in FY 2012 must be calculated and provided in accordance with the School Funding Reform Act of 2008. Relief is limited to the plaintiff class of children from Abbott districts for whom the Court has a historical finding of constitutional violation and for whom the Court has had specific remedial orders in place through Abbott. We broke the news first that the Councilman Small trial was to be broken up into two different trials. BREAKING NEWS FIRST REPORTED HERE "Hurley in the Morning" WIBG 1020 AM RADIO Exclusive Thursday, September 16, 2010 8:05 a.m. This is a "Hurley in the Morning" exclusive ... first reported here. "Hurley in the Morning" has learned and confirmed that Atlantic City Firefighter Richard Williams was terminated yesterday morning. Williams was suspended back on September 16, 2009 for allegedly luring 4 African-American teenage girls into an Atlantic City Firehouse, with the promise of pizza. In a lawsuit filed by two of the girls ... they contend that Williams enticed them into a sexual encounter inside the firehouse. Williams' attorney Joe Levin has long-maintained that his client has done nothing wrong and that he wasn't even working (the night) the alleged incident occurred. The Atlantic County Prosecutor investigated the allegations, but determined that no crime was committed because the girls were over 16 years old, the age of legal consent, and that there was no evidence they were forced to do anything. When the Prosecutor announced his decision, Mayor Lorenzo Langford immediately followed by confirming that the City would conduct its own investigation of the allegations. Mayor Langford has long maintained that "heads will roll" if the allegations are substantiated. Yesterday, Mayor Langford made good on that promise, as Williams has been terminated. Neither Mayor Langford, nor any other Atlantic City Hall staffer would comment on the Williams termination ... But, I have the facts of this breaking news story well sourced and I am 100% certain that Williams has been terminated by the City of Atlantic City ... as a direct result of these allegations. According to the lawsuit, after as many as 10 other firefighters left the area, Williams told the girls that if they "showed him something," he would "show them something." The girls, who were all under 18 years old, say that they were lured into the firehouse on May 16 while they were walking to the Atlantic City The Walk shopping district. The lawsuit claims Williams, persuaded one girl to expose her breasts and coaxed two of them into touching his genitals. He then masturbated in front of them, and slapped one of the girls on the buttocks, according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit, filed in state Superior Court in Atlantic County, seeks unspecified monetary damages. It also named Fire Chief Dennis Brooks, the city and its fire department, as well as 10 unnamed firefighters as defendants.
