NJ State Senator James Whelan
Endorses Incumbents for Ventnor Election
Ventnor City, NJ. – NJ District 2 State
Senator James Whelan endorsed the incumbent Kreischer
Schafer Vespertino Column B ticket for the Ventnor
Commission election on May 13th. “Mayor Kreischer,
Commissioners Schafer and Vespertino do a fine job and
should be re-elected”, said Whelan. “I have worked with them
for several years and I know that nobody does more than Tim,
Joe and Sandy to make Ventnor a better place for everyone”
said Whelan.
“To have Senator Whelan’s support is
quite gratifying,” said Mayor Tim Kreischer. “We have worked
with him many times in the past and his experience and
guidance have benefited all Ventnor taxpayers”, Kreischer
said.
“I think it is great to have the
endorsement of our districts State Senator” said
Commissioner Joe Schafer. “Jim has always worked in a
non-partisan manner, trying to do the best for Ventnor
residents” Schafer said.
“We’ve known and worked with Senator
Whelan for many years”, Vespertino said. “I can’t tell you
how much I value his support”, said Vespertino.
“Ventnor has become a better town in
which to live over the past 12 years in large part due to
the efforts of Tim, Joe and Sandy to not mortgage their
resident’s future, but to invest in it, spending tax dollars
wisely and reducing municipal debt”, Whelan said. “I endorse
their re-election on May 13th”, said Whelan.
Ventnor City has a non-partisan
election every four years in May where the three candidates
that receive the most votes are elected Commissioner. The
three commissioners then meet and elect one of their number
Mayor by majority ballot.
