PRESS RELEASE
National Action Network South Jersey Chapter
The Mayor of Atlantic City and Fire Battalion Chief Scott
Evans can support and settle to give back pay with benefits
to Edmund Mawhinney firefighter whom was terminated for
wearing a hood imitating the KKK and stating he will burn
Ricky Williams firefighter house down. If the Mayor can
support a KKK then the Community will be supporting Ricky
Williams firefighter who was recently terminated and
retaliated for wearing hair braids and for reporting the KKK
incident. Because of the repeated injustice and reported
incidents of racism in the Fire Department and excessive
force from the Police Department. We will have a rally on
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at 3:00p.m in front of the
Atlantic City Convention Center at One Miss America Way
Atlantic City New Jersey.

NO JUSTICE NO PEACE
We have received several complaints of racism of hangman
looses and people wearing hoods imitating the KKK. Also
retaliation and demotions in the Fire and Police
Departments. Therefore, We the National Aciton Network South
Jersey Chapter are asking everyone to stand up together to
get rid of these acts of racism and discrimination.
A follow Up from Rev. Al Sharpton Visit to Atlantic City.
The recent exposure of Mayor Scott Evans involvement in the
Mawhinney matter and his retaliation of suspending Business
Administrator Domenic Cappella for speaking the truth is an
example of retaliation, bribes, and corruption from Mayor
Scott Evans.
