MADE AN OFFER TO RIVAL CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR,
DOMENIC CAPPELLA
The
insider, who declares direct knowledge of this issue,
reports to me that Evans has offered to reinstate and
increase the salary that Cappella earned while he was
Atlantic City Business Administrator.
There is a
political catch to this. Our source confirms that
Cappella would have to leave the race for Mayor of
Atlantic City in exchange for the salary increase.
Our
source(s) confirm that Cappella has no intentions of
leaving the race for Mayor, and, that he would decline
such a political deal.
Our insider
confirms that an official comment from The Cappella
campaign will be filed at approximately 5:00 p.m.
