DONOHUE - CONRAD 100 DAY TAX REVOLT ROLLS
ON - FOUR TEA PARTIES ON APRIL 15th
TOWN HALL MEETING WITH CHRIS CHRISTIE ON
APRIL 16th
April
15, 2009,
Ocean City,
NJ: Republican Assembly candidates Mike Donohue and
Frank Conrad continue their 100 Day Tax Revolt
across the First District today and tomorrow. Mike
and Frank will start off April 15th at the 9th
Street Bridge in Ocean City at 11AM for the first of
four Tax Day TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Parties.
The candidates will then appear in Middle Township
at 12 Noon in front of the Old Historic Court House
for the second TEA party of the day. From there,
Mike and Frank will travel to Vineland at
2PM and join
the TEA party gathering in the 700 block of Landis
Avenue. Tax Day will finish at Harbor Lane and
Texas Avenue in Cape May for a TEA party at 6:30PM
in Cape May
Harbor where the candidates will address those
gathered to protest the high tax burden placed on
the citizens of New Jersey and the U.S.
The Donohue -
Conrad 100 Day Tax Revolt two day blitz around the
District will culminate on Thursday, April 16th,
with a Town Hall meeting back at the Old Historic
Court House in Middle Township at 6:30 p.m. Mike
and Frank will share the stage with Republican
Gubernatorial Candidate Chris Christie. The Town
Hall meeting will be moderated by leading Talk Radio
Commentator Harry Hurley of Hurley in the morning.
The candidates will address those assembled and take
questions from the gallery.
"This is not a partisan
phenomenon," Mike Donohue says. "The is a
people phenomenon. People have had it with the
taxer-in-chief Jon Corzine and his enablers in
the State Legislature. We are continuing our
grassroots Tax Revolt. We will be on the
streets of the First District with the folks
telling the Corzine Team that their
tax-and-spend days are coming to an end. No
doubt we will hear from the voters about how fed
up they are as we welcome them on Thursday
evening to our town hall meeting with Chris
Christie."
"We announced a 100 Day
Tax Revolt when the Corzine Democrats unveiled yet
another tax-and-spend budget that hurts the New
Jersey middle class," Frank Conrad says. "People all
over the District have risen up in spontaneous
protest to put together Tax Day TEA Parties to tell
the Corzine Team
that we have had all we can take and we won't take
anymore. We can't wait to talk about our TEA party
experiences with all of the people who will be
joining us at our town hall meeting with Chris
Christie on Thursday evening."
