A word about Domenic Cappella.
Domenic's participation as a viable and
interesting candidate in Decision 2008
for Mayor Atlantic City cannot be over
stated.
It was huge! Domenic's impact was well
beyond the actual vote total in the end.
Domenic brought out important facts
about Scott Evan's unfitness to serve as
Mayor ... that could not have occurred,
if injected by any other person.
Cappella was believable and effective
throughout the campaign. Domenic
possessed important inside facts, which
could not be denied by Evans.
Domenic Cappella also brought class and
dignity to the race.
He faced personal, vicious and other
mean spirited attacks on a daily basis.
Domenic conducted himself as a gentleman
during the entire campaign. He ran on
only issues. He did not personally
attack Rennie or Scott.
Domenic did himself a lot of good in
this race.
Also, of importance ... Now, that this
campaign is over ... Scott Evans needs
to do the right thing today and
immediately reinstate Cappella to his
position. He also needs to pay Domenic
his disserved back pay for time missed.
Finally, to those who lied throughout
the campaign that the Cappella and
Langford campaigns were a coordinated
effort ... you could not be more wrong.
Rennie and Domenic each ran their own
campaign. It just so happened that they
shared agreement that Evans was unfit to
serve as mayor of Atlantic City.
the voters of Atlantic City agreed by a
more than 2 to 1 margin.
Congratulations to Domenic Cappella ...
who is a definite WINNER in Decision
2008.
