*** Senator Kyrillos: Christie Team "May Have Been Taking Lessons" from Cape May GOP Leaders ***

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE - State Senator Joe Kyrillos (R-Monmouth), speaking last night to a jam-packed Stone Harbor Yacht Club on behalf of the Column One Cape May County Republicans, observed that the Christie Team "may have been taking some lessons from right here in Cape May County" when structuring the new administration's strong reform agenda.

Senator Kyrillos has a long and distinguished history of public service. He currently sits on both the Senate Economic Growth and Judiciary Committees, and formerly served as the Republican Majority Conference Leader from 1997-2002. Senator Kyrillos later led his party as Chairman of the Republican State Committee from 2001-2004. Kyrillos also stood as New Jersey Chairman for Governor Mitt Romney's presidential campaign as well as Chairman of the Chris Christie for Governor campaign.

"Cape May County Republicans fought for pro-taxpayer reforms before it was cool," said CMCRRO Chairman David Von Savage. "Our friend State Senator Kyrillos has also been a key member of Governor Christie's reform team since the very beginning. We're grateful for his principled leadership and unwavering support. Senator Kyrillos knows our Column One Team will continue to stand firmly behind Governor Christie as he fights to save our state."

State Senator Kyrillos urged all Cape May Republicans to support Freeholder Ralph Bakley, Freeholder candidate John McCann, and County Clerk Rita Fulginiti. The Senator also publicly congratulated Norris Clark, chairman of New Direction for New Jersey, who will be joining the Christie Administration. Clark will serve with Education Commissioner Bret Schundler at the New Jersey Department of Education.
