Councilman-At-Large, George Tibbitt is reporting
today that he has received the Democratic Party
Line nomination in his bid for re-election to
city Council in Atlantic City, N.J.
"I received the news
directly of my nomination for the Democratic
party line for City Council in Atlantic City
from the Atlantic County Democratic Party
Chairman, Pat Darcy", said Councilman George
Tibbitt.
"I am very gratified to
be one of three individuals selected as the line
candidates", said Councilman Tibbitt.
"Since my appointment and
then my election by the people of Atlantic City
to city council, I have remained dedicated to
bringing about good government in our city,
while always supporting the democratic party in
the process", said Councilman Tibbitt.
"I am also grateful for
the confidence that has been placed in me as a
reflection of hard work and a record of
accomplishment, that will put me in the same
column as our incumbent Governor Jon Corzine",
said Councilman Tibbitt.
"I have always strived to
work hard for the citizens of Atlantic City and
our Democratic Party and I am very happy to have
received this important nomination from the
Atlantic County Democratic Party", concluded
Councilman Tibbitt.
