ATLANTIC CITY --  The Annual Atlantic City Christmas Parade, leading, this year, to The Atlantic City Outlets at The Walk, where  festivities loaded with excitement, entertainment and  lots of give-a-ways for children will follow, is set for Saturday, November 29, 2008.

The parade will begin at noon from New Hampshire Avenue and proceed along Atlantic Avenue from the Northeast Inlet to the Midtown district.  The parade will then turn right onto Michigan Avenue and proceed through the Atlantic City Outlets, The Walk with the first participants arriving there around 12:30 pm. The parade will end at Michigan and Baltic avenues 

Santa, Mayor Langford, Miss Atlantic City Roshni Shah and other city, county  and Walk Officials will host the Tree Lighting at the Michigan Avenue plaza in front of KB Toy Outlet immediately following the parade around 2:45 pm. The tree lighting will be followed by a free concert with CHOO CHOO SOUL from Walt Disney’s Playhouse. A toy give-away is being sponsored by Siganos Management Inc. and the Kay Bee Toy Store. Candy bags will be given out to all the children compliments of The Walk (Kim Butler, General Manager).

Valet parking will be suspended on Michigan Avenue between Noon and 2 pm and will resume once the parade is dispersed.   Parking is available at the Caesars garage at Christopher Columbus Blvd. and Atlantic Avenue, Park Place Parking at Ohio and Atlantic avenues and the Atlantic City Convention Center surface lot at Baltic and Ohio avenues.
