In a  HarryHurley.com Exclusive, we have confirmed that  Atlantic City
Police Chief John Mooney will be demoted to Deputy Chief in the  near future.

Additionally, two  Deputy Chiefs will be demoted to the rank of Police
Captain. This will be done  by New Jersey Department of Personnel standards with
respect to seniority  status.

There are presently  two Deputy Police Chiefs with more seniority  than
Mooney. How this will  impact will have to play out by New Jersey DOP laws.

Several Police  Captains will be demoted to Sergeant.

No Sergeants are  slated to be demoted at this time.

Mayor Lorenzo  Langford would not confirm or deny this report.

However, I  stand behind its accuracy.
