ASSEMBLYMEN JOHN AMODEO AND VINCE POLISTINA NAMED “TAXPAYER CHAMPIONS”
Atlantic County—The New Jersey Taxpayers Alliance recently unveiled a list of 43 “Taxpayer Champions” in the New Jersey Legislature. The group, dedicated to restoring fiscal responsibility in New Jersey, created a scorecard and analyzed voting records on bills they deemed to be crucial to the taxpayer community.
“We are honored by this recognition from the New Jersey Taxpayers Alliance,” said Assemblyman Amodeo. “The state of New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the nation. During these tough times, it is crucial that we protect taxpayers by being good stewards in Trenton and fighting for lower taxes.”
“Over the last several years, we have worked hard to ensure that Gov. Corzine and the Democrats in Trenton did not pass the pain on to taxpayers all over the state instead of ducking the tough choices,” said Assemblyman Polistina.
