AMODEO AND POLISTINA TO HOST TOWN HALL MEETING – WITH A TWIST

 

NORTHFIELD – Assemblymen John Amodeo and Vince Polistina will host a town hall meeting on the Governor’s “State of the State” address on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 7 PM to 8 PM.  This town hall meeting will take place in the comfort of your home.

            “We will host a tele-town hall meeting where our constituents can participate by phone,” said Amodeo.  “Like our previous four town hall meetings, we are reaching out to the public to hear their thoughts and opinions.  But people lead busy lives – making a living, taking care of kids – and find it difficult to attend a town hall meeting that maybe a couple of towns away.  Our constituents should find this format very convenient.”  

            “We want to hear what our constituents really think about the state of our state.  ,”  said Polistina.  “Our tele-town hall meeting is an invitation to the public to comment on the governor’s remarks and any other concerns they have about the direction of New Jersey.” 

            People may participate in the tele-town hall meeting by calling toll free 1-877-229-8493 and then entering the access code 14563.  The phone lines will open at 7 PM on Wednesday, January 14^th.
