NEW DATE AND TIME OF EVENT
As president of the National Action Network South Jersey
Chapter, NANSJ, I invite you to celebrate Black History
Month with Rev. Al Sharpton President and Founder of
National Action Network (NAN) doors open at 3:00p.m on
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND, 2009 All Wars Memorial Building
(Soldiers Home), 1510 Adriatic Avenue, Atlantic City, New
Jersey. "The Struggle Continues"
This event provides an opportunity for the community to
become a member of NANSJ and to meet our National Leader
Rev. Al Sharpton as to the continuance of struggle that
impacts the human life.
As you may know, NAN is one of the leading civil rights
organizations in the nation with chapters aroung the
country. NAN works extensively to promote a modern civil
rights agenda, which includes a standard of decency for all
people regardless of race or sex, social justice for all
communities, and improvement of race relations. Through the
years NAN has served as a megaphone for the voiceless and an
advocate for those in need. We have taken on issues relating
to voter registration, education, police brutality and
misconduct.
