Atlantic
County Democrats are floating the concept of
Alisa Cooper & former Atlantic County
Prosecutor Jeff Blitz as the ticket to
challenge incumbent Assemblymen Vince Polistina
& John Amodeo.
Republicans
are said to be salivating in hopes of running against
Blitz and Cooper.
They are
preparing to run hard at Blitz regarding his lack of
prosecutions during the Craig Callaway era of crime in
Atlantic County.
No word from
Blitz if he wants the spot on the ticket.
Cooper will be
relentlessly attacked on her unsubstantiated nepotism
claims of the past.
You can expect
an effective tagging of Cooper like Denny Levinson did
so extraordinarily well against former Sheriff Jim
McGettigan ... who Levinson single-handily placed in an
early retirement program.
The Atlantic
County Democrats have been begging every Democrat and
even some Republicans to attempt to form their Assembly
ticket.
Most have
declined the offer to date.
